Bahamas Oolite is specifically designed to be used in deep sand beds where it is an effective denitrifier. It is also safe for sifters and soft bellied fish such as sharks and rays. For best results, use at least 1 pound of AragAlive per gallon of seawater. For deep sand beds use 2 pounds per gallon.
