One of the largest of Eheim canisters, the Model 2080 offers excellent filtration for aquariums up to 320 gallons. Utilizing two intakes, it produces a flow rate of 450 GPH, pulling the water through three trays of media after first passing through a top mounted prefilter. Quick disconnects and a self priming lever makes maintenance easy. Recommended media would be 8 liters of Ehfisubstrat Pro and 4 liters of Ehfimech (not included). Canister measures 13” x 13” x 22”. The Eheim 2080 Filter Pad kit includes 1 coarse foam pad and 4 fine fiber pads.

Model 2180 includes all of the above features with the addition of a built in 500 watt heating element and electronic controller. The external controller has a large LCD screen to measure the water temperature. The Thermofilter 2180 is designed for only freshwater use. Media not included.
