SPS Coral Grow provides a bio-film that adheres to and enhances the coral’s mucus layer. This bio-film provides an enhanced environment for increased bacterioplankton colonization allowing stony corals to feed themselves more efficiently. Feeding with coral foods may become unnecessary, thus eliminating pollution caused by excess food. The use of the appropriate trace elements and water conditioners should be continued. SPS Coral Grow is a natural cultured detrital aggregate with no biocidal preservatives as are needed in liquid coral foods. Results are usually seen within two weeks. Amount used depends on bio-load which is the quantity of corals in the aquarium. A starting guide is one-half teaspoon per hundred gallons every other day. Heavily stocked aquariums can consume one teaspoon or more daily. Comes in 6 oz size.
